This round I didn’t use the ready mix biscuits. I use the recipe from the book which I bought last month. Very simple to do it. I add M&M chocolate as a decoration for the cookie. There are 3 batches and the last batch is my little boy helps me to place the chocolate.
175g (3/4 cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature, diced
90g (1/2 cup) golden coaster sugar
250g (2-1/4) cups plain flour
1. Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy. Add the flour and, using your hands, gradually work it inĀ until the mixture forms a smooth dough.
2. Preheat the oven to 160 deg C.
3. Bake for 20 mins until just beginning to turn brown. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
